I have been journaling since 1994. It’s my way of communicating with God. I write what’s on my heart and God responds and before I know it I have a conversation on the page. I’ve been sharing some of these insights with friends and family and they really seem to enjoy them. Recently God has been impressing on me to expand that.
On May 20th these scriptures jumped out at me. Isaiah 54:2-3a “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left. I wasn’t sure what the Lord was saying so I decided I would wait for the Lord to make it clear to me. Since then I’ve been wrestling with starting a blog. (As you can see my blog has expanded to a website.) That just didn’t make sense to me. It has been many years since I have had to deal with computers. I live in a world where everyone around me is computer savvy so I don’t have to be. Just learning email was a challenge.
As luck would have it (no, as God would have it) I have a web designer son in law who has helped me. I’ve never thought of computers as my friends. I think maybe God wants that to change. So this will be a challenge for me but I believe it’s what God wants me to do and since I have surrendered my whole life to Him and told Him I would do and go where ever He leads me, I’m going into the uncomfortable unknown. Isn’t that just like God when you tell Him you will go anywhere, He leads you right out of your comfort zone into the unknown, but I hear that’s where life is exciting.
God speaks to my heart freely you have received, now freely give and so I offer to you freely what has been given to me. I hope you enjoy.

I am an encourager. That is my gift from the Holy Spirit. My prayer is that you are encouraged when you visit here by what you see and read and you feel comfortable enough to share if you are so inclined.
Thank you for letting me share with you. It is an absolute honor and a privilege and I am praying as always that God will bless your day.

In Christ
